The Radiation Is Cosmic

Note: this is in alpha stage, not a full release! Looking for feedback on movement and controls.

Climb the melting ice castle and boost into the stratosphere, collecting resources to upgrade your gear and harnessing deadly radiation. Seal the leaking cosmic portal and protect your family from sinking into the growing, glowing ocean.

CONTROLS AND CONTEXT:

Exit the cave to start climbing. Exiting cave begins exposure to radiation. If you hit max radiation exposure, you will reset back at the cave, but you will keep all gathered resources and upgrades.

Keyboard and Mouse: WASD to move, mouse to look, press and hold space to Jump, R to Boost

Controller Input: press and hold A or X to Jump, Y or Triangle to Boost

Press E within range of the console to open the upgrade panel. Press E again to close the panel.

There are temporary upgrades throughout the level that last the duration of the current run. Collide with one to acquire it. (Choose 1 of 3) 

The one that looks like a battery will give you battery capacity. The one that looks like a ball will give some radiation protection, and the one that looks like a boost crown will give a more efficient thrust cost.
